Premier Energies Limited was founded in April 1995. The company is primarily an integrated Manufacturer of solar cells and solar modules with 29 years of experience. The manufacture of photovoltaic solar cells (“PV”), in particular bifacial monocrystalline PERC cells with wafer size M10 in 182mm x 182mm format, which can be assembled into solar modules.
Solar modules are produced using various module technologies such as monocrystalline PERCon and TOPC cells, cell sizes and quantities, power ranges, and formats such as myofascial and bifacial. The company also manufactures customized modules for special applications.
The company has five manufacturing facilities, all located on its own premises in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. At the time of publication of this Red Herring Prospectus, the production facilities have a total annual capacity of 2 GW for solar cells and 4.13 GW for solar modules.
The company has ordered the required equipment and machinery to increase its annual installed capacity for solar cells by commissioning a 1,000 MW TOPCon solar cell line in Unit II. The company has secured funding for this additional cell line from IREDA, which has estimated the project cost at ₹6.694 million.
