India plans to release a cryptocurrency discussion paper by September

India plans to release a cryptocurrency discussion paper in response to G20 countries’ comments on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Financial Stability Board during India’s G20 presidency last year. Supported by FSB guidelines. The cryptocurrency discussion paper is being prepared by an inter-ministerial group comprising members of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and is expected to be ready by September.
